If you are on the iOS 14 beta profile and want to get out of the program because:

  1. It’s buggy and want to get to stable version
  2. iOS 1 beta releases are over and final version is coming out officially

Then here are the steps for you

  1. Open Settings app on your iOS device e.g. iPhone, and tap on General

2. Now scroll down to find “Profile” Button. It might show something like “iOS 14 Beta Software Profile” written against it. Select it

3. In the new Profile page there will be your Beta profile listed as below, select it

4. Now press the “Remove Profile” Button

It will ask for your Phone’s passcode , enter it. It will once again prompt you for confirmation, just press “Remove”.

A Prompt will ask to reboot your device. Just reboot for changes to reflect.

Now just wait for the next official stable update from Apple (whenever it might release) and it will appear in Settings->General->Software Update.

For an indepth understanding of how beta and stable tracks of iOS work and when it is right time to remove profile you can watch my video here. Above step by step instructions are also included in it:

iOS 14.0 is launching officially for everyone on 16th September 2020 (iPhone 6S and above ). The final Beta version of iOS 14.0 (also known as Gold Master) is 18A373 as shown in screenshot below. If you have this version installed, it means no new beta versions will come after this for 14.0 and you should remove “Beta” Profile as mentioned in above steps to receive stable official version. Stable version will mostly be around 4 GB in size as an update.
